WISDOM congratulates its executive, Dr. Santer, on receiving the Rosalind Franklin Society Award in Science

This prestigious award, launched by the Rosalind Franklin Society in partnership with Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. publishers, recognizes the top paper by a woman senior author or underrepresented minority in science across more than 100 peer-reviewed journals. It highlights the significant contributions of these scientists and aims to provide role models and mentors for the next generation.
We are proud of this accomplishment by Dr. Deanna Santer, one of our esteemed faculty executives and a professor in the department of Immunology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Santer’s groundbreaking research has characterized new antibodies to measure the IFN-lambda receptor, a significant advancement in the interferon-lambda field. Her innovative work exemplifies the important contributions of women in science.
Join us in celebrating Dr. Santer’s remarkable achievements and her dedication to advancing immunology and mentoring the next generation of scientists.
